Welcome back to another episode of Kaepernick Chaos, where we are juggling the madness of business, babies, and, let's be honest, the occasional cup of coffee. If you're anything like me, some days you feel like a total rock star. You've got it all down, you're on your super cloud, and everything is perfect. Other days, you are googling how to keep your toddler from eating crayons, how to get permanent marker out of the walls, and does this finger paint actually come out of clothes? All right, I get it. Today We're diving into something that we face as parent preneurs Survival mode. I know you know, right? Those days or weeks when everything feels like pure chaos and you're just trying to keep your head above water. But here's the good news. We've got the tools, the tips, and a little secret weapon that you'll go from surviving to thriving even in the busiest seasons, right? So picture this It's 6am and that toddler is screaming meanwhile, the baby's just waking up and is now crying because the toddler is screaming and I'm trying to get ready for work, trying to respond to emails, and I can't find my iPad or my notebook or my planner, you name the item, with all of my ideas on it, right? Sound familiar? See, that's when it hits me and you know, I've said this before, but I am a systems girl, and I needed a system, not just for myself, but for my life, and I am happy to announce that I do not have it all together, right? And that is perfectly okay. You build systems as new things arise. Something that's worked when we just had one child is not going to work now that we have two. Now that we have a toddler who is, uh, Part toddler, part dinosaur, part princess, and I think eventually going to get into the mermaid phase. While also having a baby who is now teething, wants baby food, and what worked before is not going to work again. Right? I totally understand that, and so new systems are made. That's how we grow and evolve and move forward. See, but that's when it started hitting me that As my life got busier, I needed to create a system and kind of passive income for myself. And what I decided to do was instead of taking on more client work to create specialized templates, I would create a DIY bundle playbook and basically that is how the parent planner playbook was born. My business that we run, Uggen Studios, that is something that we sell That gives me passive income. I don't have to be so involved in that. Yes I do add more templates each quarter as it goes and at the same time, people who wanted to work with me on a lower touch point and have access to more things and they could customize it for themselves. They could have the parent printer playbook and that allows me time to spend with my daughters, okay? So, creating systems and adapting those systems for what's going to work for the business and for parenthood. So, here we're going to go into actionable steps, alright? So, I've been there, I've been in the chaos as you can see, and I came out on the other side right into another storm of chaos, but that's okay. So let's talk about three tools that can help you navigate the chaos. I want you to 1. Prioritize like a pro. Alright, each morning, I personally, I do this at night for the next day once the kids have settled. But you can also do this in the morning. Pick your top three priorities for the day. Okay, one can be business, one can be family, and one can be you. Yes, let me say that a little louder for the people in the back. One of those priorities is for you, okay? Anything else that you get done for that day is a bonus. But those are the three things that you're going to prioritize. Two, embrace the power of templates. Stop reinventing the wheel. They've done it so many times whether it's email marketing to do list meal planning, Having ready made templates saves you energy and time this is exactly why I created the parentpreneur playbook because I know how much easier life is when you have a roadmap and Templates. Okay, we will talk about that in a little bit. Three. Schedule rest. Okay, schedule rest. Like it's a deadline. This one is hard for some people, but it's so necessary. I want you to block out time for yourself. Even if it's a couple moments on your calendar, To just take a moment for yourself and rest your body, rest your mind. Enjoy that cup of coffee or tea while it's still hot. Friend, you've heard it before, but you cannot pour from an empty cup, okay? Okay, I said we were going to talk about this so here we are. Let me share with you the Parentpreneur Playbook. This is my Digital baby, alright? it's full of templates, resources, guides designed specifically for parents who are also entrepreneurs. I'm talking templates to save you time, goal setting sheets to help you stay on track, family schedules that actually work with your business life, and I've created a video. menus for meal planning that have printable grocery lists, okay? It's like having your own survival kit for the chaos, and trust me, everything in there are things that I use, okay? So you're basically getting my tools in a bundle, okay? Um, so if you're tired of feeling like you're just barely holding it together, I have the playbook for you find the link to my playbook, to my, business website down in the show notes, and you can check it out. Okay, I want to leave you with one last thing. More actionable tip. Okay. And this is in case your routine gets out of whack. In case the chaos starts to creep in. I want you to build a reset routine. Alright? So when the day spirals out of control, I want you to have a go to routine that helps you reset. So, maybe you run into more issues today. Maybe your toddler or your kids have something that's a little bit more chaotic. Maybe you wake up and they're sick. This can be as simple as maybe stepping outside for fresh air for a couple minutes, journaling to get clarity on the day, or blasting your favorite song and having a dance party with your family. Whatever works for you to keep yourself grounded in the chaos, I want you to have this go to routine so that when things feel like they're overwhelming, you have something to fall back on, you have an action, a routine to fall back on that's going to help you keep your balance, okay? And help you keep afloat when you feel like things are drowning you. Remember, life as a parent printer isn't easy, but you're not in this alone. With the right tools, a little structure, and a lot of grace, I get it, you can find your rhythm, even in the chaos. So thank you for spending time with me again today. If this episode spoke to you, share it with another mom or another dad who could use an extra little support today. Maybe a little pick me up. And don't forget to grab the Parentpreneur playbook down below. Link is in the show notes because we all could use a little help turning survival mode into thriving mode. Until next time everyone, I will see you on Monday. Goodbye, my friends.
