Welcome back to the podcast. Alright, let's talk about something we don't talk enough about mom, guilt and money. Why is it that every time we spend money on our business, on ourselves, or something that isn't directly for our kids, we start to feel guilty? I can't be the only one. Today, we're breaking down why that happens. How to reframe money as a tool, not a stressor. And how to make financial decisions that actually feel good this one's gonna hit home, so let's get into it. Here's the truth. Society loves to tell moms that every dollar we make should go towards our kids spending money on ourselves, selfish investing in our business. Risky. Taking a solo trip to target for some peace, irresponsible. But here's the thing that you need to hear. Taking care of yourself financially is not, let me repeat, is not taking away from your kids. It's setting them up for success. When you invest in your wellbeing, your education, your business, your building, a better future for everyone around you. So let's reframe this whole money guilt cycle with a few mindset shifts. One. Money is a tool, not a moral dilemma. Money is not good nor bad. It is a tool. Spending money wisely on things that bring you value is not wasteful. Okay, so I want you to say this. When I invest in myself, I invest in my family's future. Okay? Your business is an asset, not a luxury. Investing in your business is not selfish. It's an investment in long-term stability. Instead of saying, I shouldn't have spent this. You should ask yourself, will this help grow and create more opportunities for my family? And here's an example of that, a$50 course that teaches you how to market your business better, could help you land$500 in new sales. So that's a return, not an expense. Three small wins lead to bigger freedom. Start with small shifts. Automating your bills, saving tiny amounts, setting financial goals. Every step, forward matters, and you should tell yourself, I don't have to have it all figured out. Progress over perfection. So let's talk practical steps to make financial decisions without the guilt. I want you to set a fun budget. A little money just for you is necessary. It's not selfish, it's necessary. Two, prioritize high ROI. Okay, this is return on investments, things that are going to bring value long term. Three, guilt check yourself. Is this guilt coming from society's expectations or actual values? And we had a whole episode about guilt already, so that is episode two. So go back and listen to episode two if you haven't already listened to it. It goes way more into mom guilt and business guilt. Okay. So your financial decisions should make you feel empowered, not ashamed. You should give yourself permission to spend safe and invest for your future because when you thrive, your family thrives. Alright, I know this was a quick one, but I wanted to just quickly get on here and talk about that because you do not have to feel guilty or ashamed if you want to spend something on yourself. All right? Mamas, go by yourself. Something, because when you're good. Everyone around you is good. Okay. If this episode hit home, share it. Tag us and keep the conversation going. Let's help bring down the barriers of what people are feeling as mom. Guilt, and let's make financial decisions that actually feel good and are good for everyone around us. All right everyone. I love you and I will see you in the next episode. Bye.
