Welcome to Caffeinated Chaos, where business deals happen between diaper changes and friendships are fueled by caffeine. I'm Whitney GaN, your host, and I'm here to talk all things business parenthood, and of course keeping up with the BFFs, whether you're juggling the boardroom, the playroom, or just here for some coffee fuel chaos. We've got you covered. Get ready for real talk, laughs and a whole lot of heart as we dive into the beautiful mess that is entrepreneurship, parenthood, and everything in between. So let's embrace the chaos together. Ated, of course. Okay, let's be real for a second. If you've been on Pinterest lately and searched summer bucket list, you've probably seen things like go on a hot air balloon ride, make homemade organic popsicles with fruit you handpick for yourself, or host a boho backyard movie night complete with string lights, a charcuterie board, and bug free air. Am I the only one sitting here saying like, this is unrealistic for me. I mean, I'm just trying to keep my toddler from pouring sand in siblings diaper when we're at the beach. That's my bucket list. And yeah, I just, I wanna have a summer bucket list, but I don't think that all those ones that I find on Pinterest are really realistic for me. They're either. Too expensive, not toddler or actual kid friendly. And as much as I wanna have a hot girl summer, it's hot Mama Summer, you know, I still got kids with me. So today we're gonna throw away the perfect and embrace the possible, okay, I'm talking about a realistic summer bucket list. Let's call it the Caffe Chaos Edition, not Instagram. Perfect. But. I think fun. Definitely chaotic and also definitely doable. Okay, so let's get into it. But before we get into it, I just wanna let you know that I have actually made a realistic summer bucket list, and you can find it on the link in the show notes, and it's just a free printable. Easy peasy. One page. Do as much as you want. Do all of it. Do some of it, do none of it, but you have it and it's free. So hit the link. Okay. I'm not gonna get into every single part of the summer bucket list, but I did pull out a couple that we're gonna go through. Okay, here we go. One popsicles for breakfast. Okay, so this one my toddler loves because it's fruit. Kind of, it's cold. It keeps them quiet for a little bit. And let's be honest, some mornings you are just surviving bonus points if you eat one too. Honestly, one of the best things we do sometimes is we take those Go-Gurts. You know the gogurts where they look like popsicles, toss'em in the freezer, and then you made yourself a yogurt Popsicle. There you go. Easy peasy. You know, just put some of those in there. Or if you actually have Popsicle molds, you can actually get yogurt in cups and then just pour it into the mold, freeze it. And then you have yogurt popsicles. So if you wanna do a little hands on, if you wanna hands off and just wanna toss yogurt in the fridge, that's what I do. Two, let's at least one park trip where you don't forget the snacks or wipes. See how realistic that is. You know what feels like winning the Audrey is when you show up to the playground with a full water bottle sunscreen, and enough snacks to avoid a meltdown. I mean, come on. It's the little things. We recently went to a wedding and I made sure I had those mosquito stickers. Repellent stickers and sunscreen. And I just remember going up to my cousin who also has a toddler and was like, and she wanna sticker it, repels mosquitoes. Do you guys need sunscreen? And I was like, oh, look at us moming. And she goes, look at you Moming better. And I was like, no, we've done this a lot. If there's anything that I tell my daughter to pack in her own, she has her own little purse. It's fun. Little mosquito stickers and sunscreen. It, it's like a roll on sunscreen. So then she went to town putting sunscreen on her little cousin. It was quite cute, quite funny. And all the kids came out of it. Okay. Without any mosquito bites. And then I started passing them out to my grown cousins, so like our whole row of grown cousins had stickers that were called mosquitoes. We all smelled like citronella, basically. Okay, so three movie nights, a k, a when everyone watches a movie and there's minimal talking, but this is not gonna be your cute outdoor setup with pillows and fairy lights. This is, we made it through the day. Here's some popcorn and Moana. Okay. Cozy couch. I think at night a nice sweet tea for me is my jam. But just get cozy on the couch. No, even like extra setup. If you wanna tell your kids to go grab some pillow and blankets and then you and your partner can be on the couch and they can just lay on the floor in front of you. Hey, easy peasy. And then grab your stuff. Take it to bed, go to sleep. four, catch fireflies. Or try once and get bit by 12 mosquitoes. Again, this is where the stickers come in handy. I know not many places have fireflies. I remember like really only seeing them when I used to go to my old grandparents' house, back when I was a kid. So I'm just including this because it's a classic. But hey, if you just make it outside to quote, look for fireflies. You know, I get it. It counts. Memories are still going to be made, and hey, you got the kids outside, and that's a win five a day where you don't cook anything. Whether it's drive through nuggets, cereal for dinner, or a pizza party, you deserve at least one day of zero dish guilt. Six water day in the front yard or the backyard. Turn on the sprinklers. Fill up a little baby kitty pool hose fight chaos. Screaming. This kind of reminds me of the nineties. One kid always ends up naked. It's my toddler, and they'll talk about it for weeks. And hey, free entertainment seven. Make one memory just for you. See, I love this one because it can be anything. It's a big one, but it can be anything that you want it to be. Is it a solo target trip? Is it reading a book in the porch or blasting music? Making space for a moment that's just about you and nobody else. Okay, so that's it. So I gave you a couple. The real summer bucket list is in the show notes, so don't forget to click that link. It's not about checking off your every Pinterest idea. It's about soaking up the imperfect magic that's happening right now. If you feel like summer is just a little sticky, a little loud, a little chaotic. Well, in my opinion, you're doing it right. Okay? Remember, it's not about the big flashy moments, it's about the hugs, the messy fun, and the joy of showing up just as you are every day. And hey, if you wanna make this even more fun, and let's be honest. I am gonna say it again. Don't forget to grab our free realistic summer bucket list. It's simple, it's fun. It's got everything from eat cereal for dinner to survive a target trip with both kids. I know. Could you imagine we are gonna be knocking off so many of the summer bucket list, and don't forget to send us a DM on Instagram because I wanna know what has been your favorite thing off the bucket list so far, once you get started. And hey, if you have any ideas that you think could be on this bucket list, send it to me. I'll add it to next year's list. Okay? All right everyone. I will see you next time and I want, so take those summer bucket list, stick it to your fridge, and check it off as you go, because even chaos deserves a gold star. I'll see you all next week. Go make some memories and find your magic. Bye now. That's a wrap on another episode of Caffeinated Chaos.
